Curtin University Dubai announces partnership with PwC Academy Middle East

PwC’s Academy partnership with Curtin Duba

One of the most prominent skills development training institutions has partnered with Curtin University Dubai to help students further their professional qualifications.

Curtin Dubai hosted a contract signing ceremony with the prestigious PwC Academy Middle East. With over 19,300 participants trained over the last decade, PwC is one of the most trusted institutions for providing professional certifications & charters training in the Middle East. They have extended their partnership to Curtin Dubai to help Curtin’s current students and alumni pursue professional courses, including the ACCA, CMA, CIM, CFA, CPA, and more. This partnership will facilitate the upskilling journey of the alumni, students and staff at Curtin University at exclusive rates and provide exemptions from specific modules based on the Curtin course the student completed.

The signing ceremony included Professor John Evans, Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Dr Khyati Shetty, Dean of Teaching and Learning, representing Curtin University Dubai; Mr Taimur Ali Mir, the Director of Professional Qualifications, representing PwC Academy.

Expressing his views on the partnership, Taimur Ali Mir said, “We are very excited about this development; we have partnered up for the Curtin students and alumni to benefit from all the courses and certifications we offer. We are hoping this is the start of something much bigger and better”.

It was a notable event for Curtin Dubai as they hosted the ceremony on the DIAC campus while vigilantly practising the safety measures and guidelines in place due to COVID-19. Professor John Evans concluded the ceremony by stating, “Let’s progress the partnership to greater heights”.

Curtin Dubai is proud to be one of the few universities to have secured this partnership with PwC in the UAE.
