In July 2021, Curtin University Dubai will be hosting its summer camp once again. It is an interactive and virtual program for high school students and to give them something to do during their holidays that will benefit them in their careers and lives. The Curtin Dubai Summer Camp will run in two batches to make it easier for participants to fit it into their schedules. Batch 1 will be from the 11th to the 15th of July, and Batch 2 will be from the 18th to the 22nd of July. However, the internship will be for a fixed two weeks from the 11th to the 22nd of July.
The summer camp consists of two components: webinars and an internship. The webinars will cover topics ranging from writing the perfect CV to international business etiquette. The unpaid internship is an excellent opportunity for students to gain an understanding of what working in a professional business environment entails. The internships are available in the Marketing, Human Resources, and IT departments. Upon completing the invigorating internship, students will receive a letter of experience and a certificate, provided that the interns have performed well and abided by the terms and conditions of the workplace. The summer camp is not only a fun experience, but it will put high school students in an advantageous position when applying to universities and their initial jobs.
