Curtin Dubai students had the opportunity to represent the university at the Annual Week of Welcome (WOW) student event organised by Dubai International Academic City (DIAC) and Dubai Knowledge Park (DKP). WOW is Dubai’s biggest student festival organised exclusively for students studying at various universities based at DIAC and DKP. Week of Welcome celebrates diversity, university life, talent, and student engagement; it offers students a platform to showcase their projects and talents in Technology, Media, Fashion, Music, Arts, and innovative ideas. Curtin Dubai’s Business Development Officer Mr Dane Soliveres, who is also a resident artist was invited to display his art collection featuring pencil and charcoal art, acrylic painting, and pen illustrations. Additionally, Curtin students organised a series of interactive games and activities to welcome new students.
