Curtin Dubai’s Global Learning Program welcomes international students

Curtin Dubai School of Business welcomed international undergraduate and postgraduate students from the MES Garware College of Commerce, Pune – India, and Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research, Mumbai – India.

Students from MES Garware attended an interactive lecture conducted by Dr Khyati Shetty, Head – School of Business and School of Humanities. Dr Khyati’s lecture titled ‘Digital Marketing’ encouraged students to pitch ideas for innovative and user friendly mobile applications. Students had the opportunity to experience the session in one of Curtin Dubai’s collaborative learning spaces as they engaged with each other on running successful marketing and brand campaigns.

Postgraduate students of Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research had the opportunity to attend three interactive lectures covering ‘Personal Branding’ delivered by Dr. Khyati Shetty, ‘Financial Planning’ by Dr. Charu Banga, and on the ‘Importance of Accounting Information and Presentation skills in the corporate world’ by Dr. Lohrasp Sadri.
