The University’s school outreach program continues to grow from strength to strength. Sessions on public speaking and presentation skills were conducted by Curtin Dubai’s student ambassadors, Melvin Jeyakumar, Kate Roska, Maryam Binte Ahmad Fuad, and Kelvin Jeyakumar. These senior students are currently enrolled at Curtin Dubai in Engineering, Mass Communication, and Computer Systems and Networking. This was a great opportunity for schools students to engage with Curtin Students and learn from them.
Gary Fernandes, Vice President of Marketing and Student Recruitment delivered an exciting talk on ‘Careers of the Future’ which was well received by senior students of Al Diyafah School. Dr Charu Banga and Mehroz Dilshad from the Curtin Dubai’s School of Business and Ms Shahra Jafar from the School of Science and Engineering also conducted academic writing sessions covering ‘Plagiarism and APA style Citations’ at the International Academic School, Dubai.
