JSS Private School’s Career day connected students with various industry experts and professors from different universities within the region. Salih Ismail, Program Coordinator for Computer Science, Curtin University Dubai, conducted two sessions on the topic of ‘Cybersecurity’. While other faculty spoke on, ‘How to choose a Career’. Grades 9 to 12 attended these interactive workshops where they learnt more about the careful use of social media websites.
Nella Basco, Curtin Dubai’s Assistant Manager – Admissions, was also present to counsel students on making effective career choices. She answered student queries on submitting university applications and choosing majors best suited for them.
