Curtin Dubai’s Head of Business School honoured at the 64th ICSB Congress

Curtin University Dubai’s Head of the School of Business and Humanities, Dr. Khyati Shetty was awarded the prestigious, ‘Lillian Dreyer Advocate Award’ and ‘The Best High Growth Women’s Entrepreneurship Paper’. She received these accolades for her paper titled ‘Entrepreneurship and Emirati Women: Social Comparison Orientation as a Motivation for Self-Employment’ which was presented at the 64th International Council for Small Business World Congress (ICSB).

ICSB is represented in 85 countries and headquartered at The George Washington University School of Business. The research project was recognised for supporting women in research, entrepreneurship and small business worldwide. The paper was co-authored with Dr. Jason Fitzsimmons, Chairperson – School of Business, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Dubai.
