Response to COVID-19

In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, Curtin University Dubai has launched a number of initiatives to minimize the impact of the ongoing situation.

Financial Support and Scholarships

Curtin University has introduced a financial support program for its students and is providing tuition bursaries to those who require immediate financial assistance. Fully-immersive online classes

Curtin Dubai has moved its teaching operations online and is providing a fully interactive virtual classroom experience to students in the comfort of their homes. The state-of-the-art collaborative classrooms offer seamless access to the online library resources and the Student Success Centre. This allows students to submit assignments and receive support with research, writing, and citation skills. Should on campus classes be permitted by the Government in September, Curtin Dubai will return to face-to-face classes on campus, while simultaneously continuing to run all classes online for students who are unable or uncomfortable coming to campus during the pandemic.

Adjustment of admission requirements

Curtin Dubai’s admissions requirements have been adjusted to address the current reality. Students now have the option to enroll based on projected marks or marks from their final year of secondary school. Curtin also offers a fully online English proficiency exam to help students meet the English language requirements.

Seamless transfer option

Whether you are an international student wishing to study at Curtin Dubai or amongst those who intend to travel abroad for higher education, Curtin Dubai has a solution for everyone. Curtin Dubai offers fully interactive online classes to international students who can enroll and begin their studies this fall, and travel to the UAE when restrictions are lifted. Curtin Dubai also offers enrolment to those students who intend to study outside of the UAE but are unable to do so due to the current international travel restrictions. Avoiding further delay of their study plans, the students have an option to transfer to their desired international university once the travel restrictions end.
