Curtin Comes to You: January sessions

Al Khaleej National School, Dubai

Al Khaleej National School hosted their Annual Career Day for their graduating batch. Enriching sessions were conducted by Mr Daniel Adkins, CEO Transnational Academic Group Middle East, on the topic of Green Technology and effective ways of saving our planet from further resource depletion and environmental destruction. The second session was conducted by Ms Everyl Colaco, Curtin Dubai’s Student Life Officer, who enlightened students about the different career options in Mass communication.

 

International Academic School, Dubai

As part our of commitment to guiding young minds in their career choices, Curtin Dubai carried out a series of high impact interactive sessions at International Academic School, Dubai.

Immensely engaging sessions were conducted by several Curtin University Dubai Student ambassadors; Second-year students, Kate Roska, Mass Communication, Sandile Nkala, Accounting, Sharjeel Ahmed Shakilzada, Mechanical Engineering, as well as Everyl Colaco, Student Life Officer. Some of the topics covered were soft skills training, financial planning for youth, global business trends, and anti-bullying.

 

Al Diyafah High School, Dubai

Curtin University Dubai once again spent a day engaging and interacting with the students of Al Diyafah High School. Gary Fernandes, Vice President of Marketing and Student Recruitment, and Student Life Officer Everyl Colaco spoke to students from year 13 on Business Etiquette. The students engaged by asking questions and were keen to know more about the corporate world.
