Curtin Dubai’s Career fair was focused on connecting future graduates with recruiters from leading companies across the UAE. It provided a platform for companies to meet and interview students from a range of academic disciplines, from the Foundation program, Bachelor’s, and Master’s degrees. Some of the organizations on campus included KPMG, PWC Academy, Marriott Group, and Oliv.
A number of intriguing workshops were conducted as a part of the fair including The KPMG Ideation Challenge; Entrepreneurship: Failures & Challenges; CV Writing; and Soft Skills and Employability. These workshops helped students to develop effective job hunt techniques and interviewing skills. Awards were given to students for the “Best Dressed” and “Best Résumé”.
