Through 10 to 14 units, depending on your prior degree, you will be given the opportunity to learn and practice in a wide variety of business disciplines, while developing transferable skills that will help you across any industry or role. The vast majority of the units do not have final examinations, but rather final projects so that you get to demonstrate your ability to apply what you have learned in real world cases. The degree includes two double units; one industry engagement unit where you will study and report on a running business and one international unit where you will travel to another country to research how business operates in that country. You can take the Master of Business Administration (Global) directly after completing a bachelor degree in any discipline.
The one-year course* starts with an orientation program, introducing you to the faculty and industry advisors, and demonstrating the importance of effective engagement and building relationships in the global market. You will then study up to 14 units, across the areas of core business knowledge, global practice and analytical practice.
The focus on global markets and practices helps you to understand a variety of cultural business practices. You will learn to work independently and in teams, and develop your leadership skills through work-integrated learning and mentorships.

A general MBA tends to focus on a specific country’s business environment and practices while Curtin’s MBA (Global) was designed to take a truly global view of each subject, thereby better preparing you for the truly global world of business. Unlike an Executive MBA, the Curtin Dubai MBA (Global) allows you to begin your studies immediately after finishing your bachelor’s degree or early in your career, which positions you to enter the workforce in a more advanced position or to advance quicker in your career.
If you hold an undergraduate degree in business or commerce you may receive Credit for Recognised Learning (CRL) equal to 100 credits (4 units) within the MBA (Global) (equivalent to one semester full-time study). This means you could complete your MBA (Global) in as little as 1 year of full time study.
Throughout the course, you will develop your leadership skills through work-integrated learning and industry engagement, preparing you for career opportunities and advancement. Our Career’s team provides regular seminars on various career related skills and will assist with finding internships and permanent placements.

It was an incredible experience for me as a Curtin University Dubai MBA (Global) student.
